Inspired by the American burlesque dancer's penchant for vintage underwear, the line will go on sale exclusively at Australia's department store Target in February next year, as well as being available on the store's website.
The collection, which includes high-waisted briefs, garter belts and fitted corselettes, is expected to subsequently go global.
Prices range from AUD$17 (€12) for bras and briefs up to AUD$79 (€57) for a bustier and corselette.
Von Teese explained in a statement released November 22 that it was important to make the collection accessible to women regardless of their dress size or shopping budget. It features briefs up to Australian size 20 (European 46) and bras up to Australian cup size E (European F).
"Size range was one of the first things I asked when I was approached to create this collection. It was important to me to accomplish the task of making these beautiful things in sizes that can make any woman feel sexy and glamorous, and I'm very proud that we have been able to do that, while keeping prices affordable," she said.
This isn't Von Teese's first foray into the realm of lingerie: her Europe-exclusive Wonderbra by Dita Von Teese line launched in September 2008 and was followed the next year by the Party Edition, also for Wonderbra.

The increasing popularity of 1940s-inspired underwear in recent years has seen high street stores such as Urban Outfitters and Topshop introducing retro items such as bralets and embroidered slips into their underwear lines. Online vintage lingerie specialists that ship internationally include Dollhouse Bettie and sleeknchic.com, while eBay can be useful for sourcing girdles, waist cinchers and corsets
